Purpose of this website
This website provides general information about my academic work, research, publications, teaching, speaking and media activities, and areas of legal practice. These terms apply whenever you access or use the website.
By using the website, you agree to use it lawfully and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others, compromise its security or interfere with its operation. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of the website.

Separate engagement terms apply
The scope, timing, remuneration and other conditions of legal services are agreed separately with each client. Where a written engagement agreement, accepted offer or other individual arrangement conflicts with this notice, the individual arrangement prevails.
I provide legal services in accordance with applicable Slovak law and the professional rules of the Slovak Bar Association. I am subject to statutory professional duties, including duties relating to independence, conflicts of interest and professional confidentiality.
No statement on this website constitutes an offer that is capable of acceptance merely by sending an enquiry. I may decline a proposed engagement, including where acceptance would be prohibited by law or professional rules, a conflict of interest exists, or the matter falls outside the available capacity or scope of practice.
Communications
Email enquiries and confidential information
Email and other electronic communications may be affected by delay, interception, corruption, loss or security risks. Although reasonable measures are used to protect communications, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Please do not send confidential, sensitive or time-critical information, original documents or extensive case materials before the prospective engagement has been assessed and expressly accepted. An unsolicited email does not, by itself, impose a duty to act, protect a procedural deadline or accept responsibility for the matter.
If you receive a communication in error, please notify the sender and delete it without using, copying or disclosing its contents.
